Crankworx Day 3: Speed & Style & A Storm

If you’ve kept up with Crankworx Innsbruck, you know that the competition is rad, the people are amazing and the champagne is bubbly.

The weather, however, can be unpredictable. A hail storm caught us off guard, but blue skies soon returned and we were back on for another epic event: CLIF Speed & Style Innsbruck.

What was an uncertain start to our live broadcast exploded into unmissable head-to-head races, combining the gruelling competition of Dual Slalom with the charged-up adrenaline of Slopestyle. Yeah, it was awesome.

Spirit’s were high as practice kicked off for deuter Downhill Innsbruck presented by Raiffeisen Club.
Stoked doesn’t even begin to describe how we’re feeling about the upcoming deuter Downhill Innsbruck presented by Raiffeisen Club. The competition is going to be fierce.
The main event however was CLIF Speed & Style Innsbruck. After a brief hail storm delaying start times, we were greeted by the most beautiful light. Worth it? We think so…
This was the biggest women’s field to ever take on Speed & Style at Crankworx and it was pretty epic. HERstory was made in more ways than one…
