Whistler Bike Park Trails: Red Bull Joyride course in the Boneyard, the base of Whistler Mountain
Red Bull Joyride 2024 Location: “The Boneyard” (Skiers Plaza – bottom of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park): Spectators have the option to view competitions from Skier’s Plaza or to hike up the mountain to watch beside the fences. Kindly note that open alcohol is not permitted.
Freeride Mountain Biking enters a new era in 2024 with women competing at the pinnacle of the sport for the first time ever. Female athletes will be able to show off their skills and creativity in all Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship events, marking an important step towards equality and inclusion. Bringing together over 35,000 fans on the ground, and millions more around the world, Red Bull Joyride is the biggest stage in the sport.
Staged in the “Boneyard,” the dirt stadium at the base of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, Red Bull Joyride offers the best Slopestyle mountain bikers on the planet two runs – that’s two chances for glory, two opportunities to throw down high-scoring tricks and move up the leader board, and two moments in time to leave their mark on the history of the sport. The 20 best riders in the world bring their A-game to this invitational showcase, interpreting a custom-built course and giving it their all.

Event Information & Format
Invite only based on qualification through the FMBA rules and regulations.
FMBA Qualified. Total of 14 male riders + 2 alternates and 6 female riders + 1 alternate.
Format:
- best score of two runs
- the start order for run one is based on the Crankworx FMBA SWC standings, with riders appearing in reverse order
- run two will be done in reverse order, based on the results of the first run
